November 2006 Community Lunch

It was lovely to see so many of Hansons extended

friends at the community lunch.

Mrs Horsley welcomed guests and thanked them all for the highly valued support they give to Hanson School. Groups represented at the lunch included training organisations like BTAL and Christopher Paul Hairdressers, the Better Reading Partnership, Police Schools' Liaison Officers and Primary School Head Teachers.  Mrs Horsley went on to express her pride that Hanson is an increasingly important hub of the community with the newly opened GOALS Centre, also represented at the lunch, not only enhancing the school's sports facilities but also serving the wider community in the evenings and weekends. She highlighted the school's role at the centre of the North Bradford Confederation of schools and pledged that plans for rebuilding and refurbishment - to be completed by 2009 - placed the community at the very heart of the school.
