Hanson is undertaking more work to improve facilities not only for the school but also for the community.

The old Swain House Middle school site is being redeveloped into playing fields with changing rooms. 
An area is also being set aside for further developments by the council for a recreational area for the local residents. 

To date the entire site has been dug up and drainage is being laid.  The changing rooms have now been erected, the next step will be to put top soil on and then we will be ready to re-seed the entire area.
