We have a strong team of six Mentors led by Line Manager Chris Bennett and Senior Mentor Colette Munro. Each Mentor has developed their own individual specialisms which the whole team can draw on when working with small groups:
Colette is attached to year 9 and is currently co-ordinating the team, putting policy into practice and ensuring that the team meets the five areas of The Every Child Matters Agenda. Graham co-ordinates Alternative Provision and works on behaviour strategies; he mentors students from all years. Pam is attached to Y7, has an art background and has developed a Learning Styles questionnaire for student use. Donna works with Y11 students and runs a KS4 Asdan group. Laura is attached to Y8 and specializes in sorting out ‘girlie problems’! Sandra works with Y10 students and is currently focusing on conflict resolution.
