100 Year Centenary Dinner
Full Marks to all involved with the 100 Centenary event,
held at Hanson. A big thank you must go to the catering department as they provided an excellent meal, that was served by the young people of Hanson. We were entertained by the resident school band who also did an excellent job.
It was lovely to meet people and put names to faces. I would highly recommend this event to any ex-students of Hanson. I look forward to the next one.

Hanson always appreciates news from ex-Hansonians. If you have any old photographs from your school days or you would like to send me an account of any memorable times, then I would love to hear from you.

The Old Students' association grew out of the long established Hanson Old Boys' Association. Ex pupils of the Boys' Grammar School keep in touch and have met twice annually, in mid summer and November. 2005 is the centenary for the Old Boys and current members are determined, optimistic and genuine in their wish to expand membership.
If you would like to be informed of further reunions or events, then please complete the on-line Old Students Association Registration Form.

If you intend to have a school reunion please forward details
and I will be glad to put it on our website.
I was recently contacted by a former student asking if we had any history on Hanson school. I made some enquires and received a letter from Mr Thornton (Plug for those in the know) He told me of a booklet that had been written by Mr Cyril Metcalfe and Mr John Jackson. I managed to borrow a copy of this booklet and copy it. I hope you enjoy reading it.
