Throughout the course, students will develop knowledge and skills that will enable them to continue on to higher education or pursue a health related career. The course aims to: Develop and sustain an interest is issues relating to health, early years care and education, social care and issues affecting the care sector. · Acquire knowledge and understanding of these issues. Develop skills that will enable them to make an effective contribution to the care sector including skills of research, evaluation and problem solving in the work-related context.
