Text Box: AS/‘A’ LEVEL PHYSICS
Text Box: Entry Requirements - 5 A-C at GCSE. Double BB in Science and at least a grade C in Mathematics.

This course follows the AQA syllabus A, that looks at Atomic Particles and Quantum theory along with Core Content. This course can lead to a variety of careers and university courses. There is a massive shortage of physics graduates so students with this qualification would be in high demand in the current job market. Advanced Physics is viewed highly by Universities and is required for many research, mechanical and electrical engineering, architecture and medical professions.

Three modules are studied in the AS and A2 with assessment through written exams and an assessed practical.
